This private, 12-hour excursion offers total flexibility, allowing us to tailor the itinerary to your specific interests. Your journey begins with a personalized pickup from your Munich hotel at 8:00 AM.

The Itinerary

Our first stop is Nuremberg, a city of profound historical layers. You can choose how to spend your time here:

  • Medieval Splendor: Explore the Old Town, the majestic Imperial Castle, and the charming old town.

    OR

  • Modern History: Visit the Documentation Center at the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds for a deep dive into the city’s 20th-century past as it details the rise and fall of the Third Reich.

After Nuremberg, we drive to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This “fairytale” town is world-famous for its perfectly preserved medieval walls and half-timbered houses. You’ll have ample time to wander the cobblestone streets, walk the ancient ramparts, and soak in the Bavarian atmosphere.

Throughout the day, your expert guide provides engaging commentary and insider tips. We’ll also stop for lunch at a local spot in either Nuremburg or Rothenburg. We will return you to your Munich hotel by approximately 7:30 PM, leaving you with unforgettable memories.

Important Information for Groups of 9 or More

Transportation Capacity: Due to German transportation regulations, our standard minivans are limited to a maximum of 8 guests.

  • Large Groups: For groups of 9 or more, we are happy to arrange a private 19-seater or 49-seater coach.

  • Custom Quotes: Please contact us directly for a personalized quote for larger group transport. This particular tour is slightly more expensive (and longer) due to the greater distances travelled.
