Neuschwanstein Castle Tour Details

Our Neuschwanstein castle tours by luxury coach depart from our shop, Discover Bavaria, which is close to Marienplatz and directly around the corner from the REAR ENTRANCE to the Hofbräuhaus, according to the schedule, right.

Arrival back in Munich at our shop near Marienplatz is approximately 7:30- 7:45 p.m.

Reservations are highly recommended. For inquiries when in Munich without a prior reservation, please call us or come by our shop, preferably prior to the day of your desired tour. Tours are usually fully booked by the end of the day previous to any tour and often sooner. Last minute availability is however often possible, yet is always very limited!

Our bike tour, hike through the gorge and other activities are naturally optional.  For our guests NOT interested in the bike ride and other activities offered we suggest  using the extra time to take the tour of the interior of Hohenschwangau castle, which is at the same location and highly recommendable.  In such cases the value of coming with us is offered in the form of transportation and the organization of castle tour tickets  (which cost €8 extra for each, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau) . Such guests "just coming along for the ride" that choose to not take part in the tour with Brad are on their own for most of the day and pay therefore only €39  instead of the full price of €49 . We do however organize the castle tour tickets so there is in any case no waiting on any lines whatsoever.

Castle Tour Details

Duration: 9.5 - 10.5 Hours

Cost Incl. bike tour: €49 , Students staying in a hostel, €39, (bring a receipt or a coupon from your hostel), kids from 5-12, €25. Kids under 5, FREE, Bike rental naturally included! Child seats available for kids under 4.

Note: Tours during the Oktoberfest cost €49 despite bike tour not being offered.

2010 - 2011 Dates & Times:

  • April 2011: Tours only on April 21st, 23rd and 25th
  • May 2011: Saturday, May 14th and Mon. Wed. Fri. & Saturday from May 16th - 31st, at 8:45
  • June 1st - July 30th: Daily except Sundays and Wednesdays, at 8:45
  • August 16th - Sept 17th (2010 only): Mon. Wed. Fri & Sat. at 8:35
  • Sept 19th - Oct 4th: Daily at 9:35 (No Bike tour offered) Note: No tours Sept 18th or Oct 3rd!
