Munich is arguably the world's most biker-friendly city!

Munich may not be "famous" for its biking culture, but drivers here know to watch out for cyclists because they have to, all the time. Riding a bike in Munich is by no means a "dangerous proposition".

Munich has Bike Paths almost everywhere!

While riding in Munich you'll almost never be in a street with cars that would be moving more than 30 km an hour. All major avenues have paths for cyclists completely separated from the streets!

The amazing English Garden is simply too big to explore completely on foot!

One of the world's largest municipal parks, Munich's English Garden is over 3 miles (5.5 km) long, about a half-mile wide and has over 75 km (almost 50 miles!) of cyling paths. But it's by no means the only park in Munich worth visiting, and best to get to, of course, BY BIKE!

München Fahrradverleih, Munich Bike Rental / Bicycle Hire in Munich

Rent your bike to ride around the great city of Munich at Discover Bavaria - Mike's Fahrradverleih am Hofbräuhaus / Munich Bike Rental am Hofbräuhaus, near Marienplatz. We are directly around the corner from the rear entrance to the Hofbräuhaus.

Our München Fahrradverleih / Bike Rental shop in Munich is open later than any other in town, 8:00 p.m. throughout the bike riding season INCLUDING SUNDAYS and all holidays!

We provide you with a comfortable Cruiser-style city bike with a back-rack, basket, lock, a great map, recommended tours, advice & friendly service.

Rates: €6 + €1 / hour, or only €12 / full day, flat rate.

A full week is only € 70.

Mike's personal Trek road bike (reservation necessary) is €25 for one day and €20 / day for additional days.

We have kids bikes sizes 16", 20" and 24". Kids bikes are only €10 / day. We have bikes with rear child seats for small-ones under about 30 lbs or 15 kilos. There is no extra charge for child seats.

For kids that cannot yet ride a bike and are too large for the child seat, we have the perfect solution...a "tag along" trailer-bike which has no front wheel. This is only € 6 extra!

Our location is another great reason to choose to come to us, since we´re right near the Marienplatz, the Hofbräuhaus and just five minutes from the English Garden or the wonderful bike path along the Isar River.
