Munich Hotels in this category range in price from approximately 60 to 90 Euro per night for a double room with a shower. However you can add at least 20 Euro to that if there is a convention in town and of course, during the Oktoberfest, even more.

Marriott Courtyard City Center is brand new, very close to the main train station and offers outstanding service and value.

Munich Kings Hotel City Center is an excellent and elegant place to stay right in the center of town very close to the main train station.

Hotel Uhland, near the Oktoberfest grounds, one of our best recommendations for a good, clean and very reasonably-priced place to stay in Munich

Hotel Creatif Elefant, is a great place to stay with a bit of designer-style, for a reasonble price. It is just 150 m from the Main Train Station on its North side.

Hotel Kurpfalz has always been a favourite recommendation of Mike´s Bike Tours. It was recently completely renovated and is about 12 minutes by foot West of the Main Train Station. 

Hotel Brunnenhof, offers excellent service and very fair rates. It is just South of the main train station.

Acanthus Hotel is a very nice, family-owned place just South of the Old Town near Sendlinger Tor.

Hotel Europäischer Hof, directly across from the South side of the train station.

Hotel Mark, is about 300 m from the Main Train Station. on the South side.

Hotel Deutsches Theater, near the South side of the main train station.

Hotel Jedermann, near the North side of the main train station.

Munich´s Four-Star Hotels range in price significantly. During the week can be a lot more expensive than on weekends. A double room with breakfast will generally cost from 125 - 180  Euros per night and on weekends for as low as 100 - 110 Euros. During conventions prices for double rooms in these hotels will roughly double. During the Oktoberfest you can count on prices from about 210 - 295 Euros per night.

Munich Kings Hotel First Class, elegant and upscale, with outstanding service. One of our very best recommendations to stay in Munich in this category. It is very close to the main train station.

Munich Excelsior Hotel is an outstanding upscale hotel with a very cozy atmosphere. It is almost directly across the street from the Main Train Station.

Munich Best Western Cristal, is a very highly recommendable Best Western very close to the Main train Station. It is a five-minute walk to it from its South side.

Anna Hotel is new desighner-hotel with style, five minutes on foot from the Western end of the Old Town.

Munich Mariott Hotel, actually classified as a "4-star-plus" hotel, it is North of the city center, in Schwabing. You can expect excellent service here. 

Hotel Concorde, right around the corner from MBTs HQ, near Marienplatz in the heart of the Old Town. Part of Mike´s Bike Tours History, as this is where we got started in 1995, in their garage!!

Munich Hilton City Center Hotel is in a nice neigborhood called Haidhausen, just East of the Old Town and close to the river and its wonderful jogging/bike path.

Eden Hotel Wolff, directly across  from the North side of the train station.

Munich Platzl Hotel, is a Mike´s Bike Tour and Hofbräuhaus neighbor in the heart of the Old Town. They offer better than average rates on weekends.

Munich Torbräu Hotel – is newly renovated but also over 500 years old, situated just a five minute walk from the heart of the Old Town & Marienplatz. Also a Mike´s Bike Tours and Hofbräuhaus neighbor. 

Munich Holiday Inn City Center, is just east of the Old Town and also, like the City Hilton, close to the Isar River and its wonderful jogging/bike path.

Munich Holiday Inn Crown Plaza, about a mile North of the city center, in Schwabing.

Munich Mandarin Oriental Hotel -  Munich´s most exclusive hotel, and next-door neighbor to MBTs HQ and the Hofbräuhaus.

The Charles Hotel is brand new (October, 2007) offering outstanding service, is centrally located only 10 minutes from the heart of the Old Town by foot.
